Winter Party
To be determined

--

Winter is coming and Christmas party plans are being made. Right now, the senior youth is looking for anyone and everyone with ideas for a good party. Right now, rough plans to help the community through a servant event are being developed; also, the group is planning a casual party. If you have the energy, the desire, and an eye for streamer colors, let us know at hang out. Committee work is underway, so please, act fast to get in on the planning.

Celebration of the Reformation Costume Party
October 31st, 6 p.m.

(the House)

I don't know about you, but I'm kinda bummed: I'm gettin' too old to Trick-or-Treat... Thankfully, God has remembered me and my fellow Senior Youthians. On October 31st, at 6 o' clock, when the ghouls and goblins start to swarm the streets for candy, come take refuge at the Senior High Youth Group Costume Party. Also celebrating the Day of Reformation, the party is sure to be a blast: with games, activities, and just hanging out, us old kids can still play. Make sure to wear a costume!!!

Also, bring some candy, snacks, or drinks to share. And a friend!

Canoe Trip
June 22nd-24th

(leaving from church, central Missouri)

Yay for canoe trips!!! Once again, the Senior Youth group will be going on its annual float trip. Relaxing, exciting, fun... this trip can be whatever you make it. On the Lower Niangua river, in a Christian-owned section (Living Waters), we are free to enjoy the lazy bends and fast rapids in a safe environment. Aside from river life, we enjoy warm campfires (and smores), a nice picnic lunch, cool swimming, and a beautiful view across the lake during a sunrise church service. You don't want to miss this faith-fostering and group-bonding event. Cost is going to be near $75 per youth, so plan ahead to get in on the deal.
UPDATE** The trip will be June 22th-24th. To go you will need a blue permission slip and a health form; for this and any other needed information you can contact Brad Keefe, Jim Reffett, or Paul Peterson.

T-Bone Game
June 1st, game starts at 7:05 p.m.

(leaving from the church, park near Kansas Speedway)

T-Bones, Kansas' new independent Northern League baseball team, will face off against the Joliet Jackhammers. At a ticket rate of $10.00, the game is sure to be a blast. Be sure to bring sunscreen and extra cash for food!

If you plan to go, please contact Chuck Burdett at 780-6579. You must have paid by Wednesday May 16th to be included in the group!!!.

Taste of Talent
March 10th, 5:00 p.m.

(at Church)

"THE TASTE OF...." IS BAAAACK!! This time around it's called "Taste of Talent" and it's sure to be LOTS of fun! Saturday, March 10th at 5:00 p.m. here at church, the Beautiful Savior Youth Group will be serving food and talent. Do you have a talent to share? Do you just want to come and enjoy the food, fellowship and fun? Either way, mark your calendars for the "Taste of Talent!" We'll see you there!

Youth Led Service
February 4th, 8:00 a.m./10:45 a.m.

(at Church: normal service times)

Thats right, its the time pastors fear... The Youth Lead Worship! Every year, the senior youth group takes the duty of putting on a service. Thats not that bad right? I mean we have services every Sunday... Well we, the Senior Youth, take on our annual duty with quite a bit of passion. Expect music, skits, energy... o yeah, and God's Word! Just like Christmas, it only comes once a year. Don't miss it!

Youth: remember, we've got work to do. Everyone should be active and helping out in some way. For any questions, contact Pastor Aaron (email at pastorfilipek@bslcks.org).
