LIFELIGHT
This
fall the class will study Paul's letters to the Galatians/Philippians/Colossians.
Galatians' message inspired Martin Luther (Galatians
2:16 (a) "know that a man is not justified by observing
the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ") and from
this the Reformation began. The letter to the Philippians
encourages the "servant attitude" (2:6-11)
and Christian living. In his letter to the Colossians
Paul warns the Colossians to not become confused by
false teachings. The warnings and encouragements of
Paul live for us today! Come join us on Wednesday nights
beginning September 9th 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Participants
work at home for the weekly lesson and come to class
to discuss and share what they have learned. Supervised
childcare is provided in the nursery. Student study
booklets are $9.00 each. Please pay for your study booklet
by August 02, 2009. Make checks out to BSLC and place
in the memo section "Lifelight", or you may
pay by cash. Please place you payment in an envelope
and be sure to give your name and number of student
books required. Payments may be placed in Regina Deke's
mailbox or given to Pastor Kjergaard.
