INTRODUCING–
“SHOP WITH SCRIP” –
NEW BSLC SCRIP PROGRAM
What is it?
The program is a fully secured web application
accessible anytime, from any computer with internet
access. It allows individuals to register an account,
associate it with the BSLC organization, place orders
and, if you choose, pay for orders online. The preferred
method of payment would be cash and/or check since you
will be charged a $0.39 convenience fee each time you
pay online.
How do I sign
up? Sign up will be on an individual
basis. Please contact Kim Burdett to get started.
What are the benefits?
The program tracks all activity from the individual
to the organization level. ShopWithScrip offers
families convenience and accurate information not available
through the traditional paper order form (i.e. product
availability, discounts and denominations are updated
immediately as changes occur).
There are also a number of merchants
who have reloadable gift cards (i.e. AMC, Barnes &
Noble, Gap, Old Navy, Starbucks, & many more) through
ShopWithScrip. What does this mean? You can register
multiple cards (don’t throw them away), enjoy faster
turn-around time, and you can create your own custom
denominations.
The program also provides a new communication
medium for members of the BSLC organization. There is
a reporting function that allows us to generate a report
for your yearly contributions. If you do not partake
in any of the special programs BSLC offers (i.e. Women’s
Retreat benefit), you can then deduct the Scrip Rebate
amount on your taxes.

Summer Sunday School
FUN!
Join
us this summer during Education Hour as the children
will discover how the fruit of God’s Spirit grows
in our lives. We will start on Sunday, June 6th and
we need a minimum of a lead teacher and two (2) assistants
each Sunday. If you are willing to help, please sign
up for that date on the poster in the church lobby.
